Sun Spots???
Well being connected in the Keys is not like the civilized world. It appears that we can only log on certain times of the day. Maybe it has something to do with the location of the stars and constallations - or just maybe it is because we are not yet members of the Mooses - Very strange indeed. Anyway we have been having some great rides despite the fact we have to wear all our winter gear - even those leather underwear haha. Sunday we rode up to Key Largo for an antique bike show - very, very, very, chilly over that 7 mile bridge brrrr. Met alot of our biking buddies there - always something new..... possibly more tattoos and less teeth but whose counting haha!!! The trip home was warmer - the wind was down and what was there was at our backs. Yesterday was predicted to be the warmest day of the week so we figured to go to Key West. It is always warmer there - all those bars block the wind haha!!! Had a great luch and then took a walk down by Mallory Square. I can't believe it but we actually found a place we had never been to before. More bars, more restaurants, more strange people. Ahhh life is good in the Keys!!?? sounds pretty cool! glad you have all that leather to keep warm :). yesterday we finally got our snow. it was mardi gras so i wanted to go out and celebrate, but i decided not to brave it. it's quite lovely today, and should be getting into the 40's for the rest of the week - low expectations, but i'm excited! anyway, did you see the sunset in the square? any green flash? miss you guys. i am going swimming tonight but will try calling you after i get home and cook and eat. save trails - enjoy. love you, d
