In the beginning

Hello Hello....Well I know some of you might be wondering how two, seemingly normal biker dudes, decided to take a cross country trip. It all started on our trip to the Florida Keys for a winter get away last January. We stopped, as we usually do, at UE and AL's house in South Jersey for a couple of nights of fun and games. After solving the world's problems, we decided to talk about a riding vacation together. Sedona, AZ was the destination of choice. Now all that was needed was a house to rent and the location of the nearest Harley dealer from whom to rent bikes. After some research we realized that only "Bagger" bikes were available. Now there is where MY problem came in. I really love my Sportster and the "Bagger" bikes are all much heavier than mine. What to do??? What to do???? I've got it.....lets RIDE out there then I can have my own bike to ride - Brilliant!!!??? (I think?) Well now its crunch time. We just went to AAA to get over 20 maps, got some new boots and jeans, and am now wondering just how many days I can wear the same clothes. AHHH it is bringing back memories of sailing - at least I won't be crusted with salt when we get there - is road dust better??? - conclusion - be careful what you agree on after a few drinks with UE and AL.
