when the rubber meets the road
After some great hugs with our buddies and a couple of packing problems - "It doesn't fit!!!" AARRRRRR we're off!!! What a glorious day for riding....day one was perfect. We are now in Scranton Pa - got a beautiful room and are ready to hit the "hot" spots??? Ok, so maybe they won't be so hot - but at least our boots and wooley socks are off, We hear the local bar calling us for cocktail hour and then onto the spa to clean the road dirt off - not bad at all. Once we got out of Ct. rt 84 was spectacular. The mo untains were just starting to show a little Fall coloring and the winds were warm and refreshing. It was a long day 320 miles so will close for now - happy trails - take care and have fun Flame and Big Dog

So cool! Wish I was there with you. I am so foggy with jet lag today, at least it reminds me of my lovely vacation. Ahhh, italia, non dimenticarmi!!! Now, back to solving the social ills of boston and beyond ;)...
I'm glad you guys got off to a good start! We'll have you in our hearts the whole way. Have one at happy hour for me...or maybe two.

the hot spots of scranton must have been GREAT people-watching! the poconos are so incredible this time of year- i wish i could have seen the fall colors starting too!!! i hope you guys take tons of pic's!
